Sawing and Drilling Services
Stone cutting and shaping :-
We have both large and small saws and are able to step cut stone to a depth of 1.2 metres. The smaller saw is used for more intricate work. We are able to angle cut with both saws.
Polishing, Bullnosing, Routing :-
We have two hand machines to carry out the above on the smaller jobs.
Sandblasting :-
Cleaning and texturing stone by this process enhances the final product. Our blast room can accommodate any job from 3 metres in length and 1.75 metres tall.
Core Drilling :-
Our drill rig is able to drill to a depth of over 2 metres. We have core drills from 10mm up to 40cm with various sizes in between. We also have counter boring drills.
Drilling :-
Size of drill holes from ½ inch to 9 inches.
We have a large selection of stones available
for drilling. Many you will never have seen before as we are
importing from Turkey, China, India, Italy, Germany, Norway,
Iceland and some Slate. You can also bring along your own stones
for drilling.
We have also developed a system for standing stones,
which enables you to use up to 100% of the stones height when
placed on the ground.
Use ground anchors for securing standing stones.
Just like you would when planting a large rootball tree!
Natural Stone sculptures are also available.
Costs will vary depending on which saws are used but budget on maximum cost of £35 /hour. To save time and money, mark your items for cutting before you come, marking the stone costs the most time!
